Ek Paheli Leela, an upcoming
Bollywood Musical thriller film, written & directed by Bobby Khan and
produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The trailer of the film went viral
on YouTube with more than 13 Million views.
Sunny Leone will be seen
playing different roles in Ek Paheli Leela. According to Sunny Leone it is going
to be her most challenging film. Bobby
Khan, the debutant director has described the characters played by Leone will be
seen in different avatars. Her character in the present era will see her playing
a London based super model with an Indian lineage, and will be seen in a very
glamorous avatar.
A photo feature campaign
comprising several models to be filmed in Rajasthan brings Leone to India and
that’s where she meets a prince played by Mohit Ahlawat. They fall in love and
soon get married. From a glamorous
model, she becomes a princess and her whole attire changes. Sunny as a princess
wear kurtas, ghagras, chaniya cholis and gajras.Can you Imagine Sunny in these
clothes? But it was the requirement of the film and Sunny’s looking very
beautiful and has also performed very well.
Interestingly, the film is a
reincarnation story going back 300 years when Leone will be shown as a dusky
looking village girl called Leela. She wears small cholis and skirts wrapped
around her as girls wore un-stitched clothes in that era.
She has put a lots of efforts
to learn Rajasthani as well as Hindi language. Filmmaker Bobby Khan, who casts Sunny Leone for his movie
says many known actors refused to work in it because of the presence of the
Indo-Canadian adult film star.Bobby Khan vouches for Sunny's
professionalism. "Her past life was her choice, but in India, people's thinking
is still like that. Many actors refused the film. Sunny felt bad and Daniel
(Sunny's husband Daniel Weber) told me, 'Next time if you see an actor, I will
come with you as I want to tell them that please work with my wife as she is
very professional'. I felt very sad," added Mr Khan.
“The film which will show
flashes of Sunny’s past is a beautiful story with enough suspense to keep the
audience glued to their seats,” said Khan.
Sunny hopes that she will
definitely get an "image makeover" with this film.
